In response to the growing sport compact vehicle market, Chevrolet developed a new vehicle platform to target young buyers and compete with import brand small cars: the Cobalt. Numerous automotive aftermarket companies partnered with Chevrolet to further build excitement for the Cobalt launch. Teske Design was tapped by Chevrolet to design and build various promotional vehicles that would be used for national promotions.


Working closely with Chevrolet brand managers and aftermarket companies, Teske Design managed the strategy and design of Cobalt promotional vehicles that showcased the customization possibilities of the new vehicle in both appearance and performance. The final vehicles were showcased throughout North America at shows including SEMA and the Los Angeles International Auto Show. Teske Design extended the reach of Chevrolet’s promotion, coordinating media coverage in both print and film strategically targeting a younger audience.
